Our primary beliefs
- There is a God, omnipotent and sovereign, existing
without cause. He is knowable (though not entirely) and wishes to be known by each and
every person on earth. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should have
eternal life.
- Christ was born of a virgin, died and was
resurrected on the third day.
- God is triune in nature, revealing Himself to us as
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our understanding of this is incomplete, yet the
revelation is sufficient for us to understand much of His nature.
- There is an eternity awaiting all souls, some in
hell and some in heaven.
- There is an obligation to every Christian to spread the
Gospel of Christ through direct evangelism, lifestyle and consistency with
Christ's commandment to love. This obligation is not voluntary, but mandatory.
- All men are equally precious in His sight, saved and
unsaved, and the Christian has given up his or her right to hate, condemn or judge another
person in the sense of eternity. This does not prevent us from recognizing sin and
declaring it to be such.
- All humans are predestined to be saved, and it is a
free act of the will - a pure and unfettered choice - to stay outside God's grace and
mercy. God gives all who who seek Him enough faith to believe in Him. It is entirely up to
the individual to 1) Seek. 2) Utilize that faith which he is given upon seeking to
believe.
- There is a supernatural, spiritual realm which is
superior in every way to the natural.
- In this supernatural realm there exists a real enemy,
or adversary, commonly named Satan or the devil. However, upon the death and resurrection
of Christ, this entity's power was destroyed utterly, leaving only a defeated foe
with a loud voice.
It is within the power of every individual
on earth, saved or unsaved, to resist the voice of the devil and to refrain from evil. The
devil has been stripped of his power to "enslave" or "possess" humans
without their permission, and each human retains the absolute right of free will to accept
Christ as Savior at any moment in time, and regardless of their current state - no matter
how depraved or evil. Thus, it is man, and man alone who hardens his own heart against
the knowledge of God. We give no place to the devil.
- None of the gifts as described in the scriptures have
vanished or "passed away".
- Miracles still occur as proofs of God's continuing
interest in and love for mankind, and that Christians, working as a body, are able
to cause these miracles to occur both as evidence of their relationship with Him, and to
persuade non-Christians of their supernatural credentials.
- Our interest in the "Second Coming" of Christ is limited to
being ready for Him insofar as we are able. We understand this to mean that when He
returns, we are found in ministry and service to both the lost and the saved. We
believe that until the church as a whole is in this position, He will not return -
regardless of the signs of the age.
- The body of Christ is the sole entity decreed by God to solve
the ills of the world. God did not create kings, nor governments, nor society at
large as the primary moral authority governing human action. He is that moral agent, and
created the body as His instrument on earth to implement that authority. That we have
failed miserably is evidenced in the daily newspapers and on the network TV news reports.
When Jesus said, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and
unto God the things that are God's", He never intimated that Caesar got to decide
which was which!
Until the body of Christ takes up the mantle of responsibility and
invokes the authority given to it by the Father, through the Son and Holy Spirit, we are
not performing the task for which we were created. Instead, we are tragically and
selfishly ignoring the very real suffering in the world and concentrating on our own lusts
and comforts. We have the tools and power to change and alleviate the suffering about us
if we will do so.

Whew! If you are still with us after that, then perhaps you would be
interested in having us speak at your church. Frankly, this probably means Bill, but,
depending upon the circumstances, both of us might be available to speak. We are anointed
to minister to our generation - specifically in the area of marriage. We have a very clear
vision of God's call on our lives, and are eagerly awaiting the manifestation of it in the
mission field of our generation.
If you spend any time at all browsing through this site, you will
know enough about our beliefs and opinions to determine whether we might fit into your
vision. We encourage you to do so and then...
